Notation
The holes of the star are named by the letter of a slanted line a–q and
the row number 1–17 from the bottom up: the bottom tip is m1, the top
one e17, the centre i9. A move is the path of the marble with dashes:
j4-j5 is a step, m1-m3-k5 two jumps.
At the table the star is turned towards you: your point at the bottom, the goal at the top. The hole names do not change — everyone uses the same names in the record.
Counters above the board: the move (or round) number, the home deadline — how many marbles each player still has at home, the game limit and the marbles in the goal.
