Four in a Row — Rules

Three players

A board of 9 columns × 7 rows, four in a row, three players and three colours: red, yellow and blue. Players move in turn: first, second, third.

The first player to line up four in a row wins. If the board fills up and nobody has a row, the game is a draw for all three.

The match is three games, and the first move passes round. Match points are the sum of the games: 1 for a win, ½ for a draw. With three players you cannot concede a single game — only the whole match. Unrated.

With three players you cannot watch one opponent only: while you block one threat, the other player builds another.
