Three players
Three players sit at every other point: each heads for the empty point opposite, and the paths cross in the centre. 10 marbles each, deadline to leave home — 30 moves, game limit — 150 rounds.
The first to finish takes first place, the other two play for second and third. A player out on the deadline gets the worst of the free places, and their marbles are removed. Rating by places. Details are in the basics.
