Draw Dominoes
A game for two. Moving, adjusting the line, the end of a deal and the ways of scoring are shared by all variants and described in the basics. This page covers what is different here.
The deal
Each player gets 7 tiles. The other 14 lie face down — this is the boneyard.
Drawing from the boneyard
With no move, the player takes tiles from the boneyard one at a time — choosing which one — until a move becomes possible. If the boneyard is empty, the player passes. Drawing while holding a playable tile is not allowed.
A blocked game happens only when the boneyard is empty and nobody can move.
Scoring and the match
The default is winner takes the points: the player who goes out scores what is left in the opponent's hand, and the match is played to 100.
When offering a game
Tiles per hand — from 2 to 13: at least one tile must stay in the boneyard.
