The aim of the game is the same as in Backgammon: to move all your men into your home board and then bear them off.
Initial Setup
All men are originally off the board. The play direction is as in regular Backgammon.
Movements
A man is entered by moving it to an open point corresponding to one of the numbers on the rolled dice.
Having entered one or more men, the player may use subsequent rolls to move these men, or to enter additional men, or for both purposes.
Doubles are played twice, as usual.
The roll of 1-2 (Acey-Deucey) has special power. On this roll the player moves 1-2, then names any double he wishes, plays it and rolls again. If he is unable to use any part of the roll, he loses the rest and may not roll again. The player can name a double only part of which can be used, even though he could name and use another double entirely.
A blot (single man on a point) may be hit and sent to the bar. Until it is re-entered, the player may not make any other move as in regular Backgammon.
